Former Burnet County Court at Law Judge William Randolph “Randy” Savage passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, at the age of 76.

Burnet County elected officials were sworn into office for their new term on Friday, Jan. 1, at the Burnet County Courthouse. Among those who took a new oath for the new year are, from left, Precinct 1 Commissioner Jim Luther Jr., 33rd District Judge Allan Garrett, District Attorney Wiley “Sonny” McAfee, County Attorney Eddie Arredondo, Tax Assessor-Collector Sheri Frazier, Sheriff Calvin Boyd and Precinct 3 Commissioner Billy Wall.
