CARTS to provide ride to the polls

The Capital Area Rural Transportation System will participate along with many Texas transit providers, taxis and ride share services offering free rides to and from election day polls. CARTS will be offering free rides for voters during early voting and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd to voters going to the polls.

Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) is scheduled to restore regular service on most routes beginning Sept. 1. The entity was among businesses that closed due to COVID-19 pandemic regulations.
