Star Republican Women of Llano County hosted the trio, who have been traveling around the state together to participate in such an event. Voters take to the polls for early voting in gubernatorial year

Voters go to the polls Monday for the primary elections in what is known as a gubernatorial year from Feb. 14-25 for the March 1 election. Several contested races in the Republican primaries are listed in both Llano County and Burnet County. No Democrats are vying for county races in either county.

The Phoenix Center takes shape

Officials of The Phoenix Center announced that construction of their new facility is progressing well and at a good pace. The more than 7,000-square feet facility, located just off Texas 71 in Horseshoe Bay will continue offering services for at-risk kids throughout the Highland Lakes.
