Voters in Texas gave the green light to all eight of the proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot during the Nov. 2 election.

Horseshoe Bay voters approved two propositions Nov. 2 that would expand how sales tax money is dedicated to road maintenance as well as municipal operations including the fire department and emergency services, according to preliminary election results.

Early voting for the Nov. 3 general election begins today, Tuesday, Oct. 13, and continues through Friday, Oct. 30, in both Burnet and Llano counties. Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, turnout is expected to be high since this year marks a presidential election year and there is a U.S. Senate race on the ballot as well.
