Chamber to host “How to Grow Your Business” Workshop

The Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free workshop on February 9th at the Burnet County Resource Centers of Texas, located at 1016 Broadway in Marble Falls. The workshop is open to chamber members and all businesses in Marble Falls, Burnet, Llano, Horseshoe Bay, Kingsland, and the surrounding areas. Veronica De La Hoya, the Membership Coordinator for the Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce, encourages local business owners to take advantage of an afternoon with Jeff Matera from Austin Score. Austin Score is a group of certified mentors, experienced entrepreneurs, corporate managers, and executives with diverse industries and specialties who volunteer their experience and knowledge to help small business owners. Mr. Matera has experience with national and international companies, both large and small, in sales, marketing, public relations, product development, and manufacturing. Veronica shared that the goal of the workshops they sponsor is “to help local businesses succeed especially new businesses who often need additional support to keep going.” She also shared that the Marble Falls Chamber intends to continue to hold workshops in 2022 with the information posted on the website www.marblefalls.org.

Holiday spirit shines with Marble Falls Light-Up Christmas Parade

Dozens of floats and participants thrilled crowds of several hundred people on Saturday, Nov. 20, along Main Street in Marble Falls. Participants included businesses, churches, nonprofit organizations, private and public school groups, public officials and community dignitaries. Other Christmas activities coinciding with holiday merriment include the Walkway of Lights in Lakeside Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night through Jan. 1, 2022.
