Gov. Greg Abbott has reappointed thirteen members, including three local residents, to the Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome Advisory Council for terms set to expire on Aug.

Phoenix Center invites families to sign up their children to attend Camp Phoenix 2021, a therapeutic camp sessions at the Phoenix Center Ranch. Activities include: • Ziplines and Ropes Challenge Course; • Art Therapy; • Music Therapy; • Team Building and more.

The Comfort Food 4 Kids fundraiser on Nov. 11 at River City Grille raised more than $10,000 for the Phoenix Center and its mission to serve traumainformed children and their families. The restaurant donated back all proceeds from sales that night to the Phoenix Center. Ford & Crew also donated a Traeger Grill which was given away in a drawing to one lucky winner.
