Cottonwood Shores voters approve sales tax continuation

Cottonwood Shores voters reauthorized a local sales tax of 0.25 percent to generate revenue for municipal street maintenance and repair during the Saturday, May 1, election. Only 13 people voted in all, but 10 said they were in favor of Proposition A in complete but unofficial returns, while only three people opposed the measure.
