Chamber to cede management of visitors center to city

The city of Marble Falls and the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce worked out an agreement to turn over the operations of the conventions and visitors bureau (CVB) to the municipality at the beginning of the new year. “The chamber of commerce has done a very good job managing the CVB in the past,” said City Manager Mike Hodge in a Sept. 22 statement. “With the expected growth, both…
