Rodeo ready to ride
Once again – it’s time to rodeo! Held on the third weekend in July, this year the main event is scheduled for Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20. On those dates Marble Falls will saddle up for the annual rodeo, produced by Cadillac Rodeo with Johnny Hoyle, in partnership with the Marble Falls Rodeo Association at the Charley Taylor Arena, U.S.

Free Splish & Splash summer party planned at the YMCA
For a no-cost cool-down, plan to cool off with friends at the YMCA at the Splish & Splash End of Summer Pool Party Bash. The Burnet Chamber of Commerce and the YMCA of the Highland Lakes have joined together to host a free pool party for the community Thursday, July 25, from 6-8 p.m.

Museum window project moves into final phase
The window replacement project at the Falls on the Colorado Museum has moved to the first floor now that all of the second-story windows have sponsors. The windows at the museum were deteriorating, and many were damaged in a late spring hail storm.

The Marble Falls Summer Concert Series entertained one of its larger crowds during Cash & The King's performance June 28 with David Allen as Johnny Cash and Mike Elliot as Elvis. Coming up tonight for the July 5 live music event, the Peterson Brothers, starting at 7 p.m. in Johnson Park.

'Raise the Roof' benefit a boot-scootin' success
