Hill Country Community Theatre announces new play, auditions to be held this weekend

The Hill Country Community Theatre (HCCT) announced auditions this weekend for its upcoming production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

The play will be directed by guest director Betty Hukill.

This Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning musical promises to be an unforgettable experience, and auditions are open to all aspiring performers.

Auditions are Saturday, March 23, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Auditions at 4003 W. FM 2147 in Cottonwood Shores.

Aspiring participants are encouraged to prepare one song that showcases their vocal talents.

Cold readings will be conducted to gauge acting abilities, and there will be a movement audition, so attendees are advised to dress appropriately.

We welcome individuals who can spell, sing, and act with passion and enthusiasm.
