Community resource center unveils Marble Falls complex

Hundreds of attendees got their first look at the newly-renovated Community Resource Centers of Texas Inc. facility on May 25, located at 1016 Broadway in Marble Falls.

Officials unveiled the amenities of the center that is now almost 13,000 square feet.

The organization, which officially reopened its doors in January 2021, has several offices dedicated to nonprofit organizations, local, state, and federal agencies.

Agencies include the Dept. of Health and Human Services (federal poverty aid programs such as Medicaid, food stamps and supplemental child insurance), Veterans Administration Services, Prescription Assistance Program, Rotary Dental Clinic, Texas Health Steps (Medicaid healthcare resources), Rural Capital of Texas Workforce Center, Literacy Council of the Highland Lakes, Highland Lakes Pregnancy Resource Center, Indigent Health Care of Burnet County and AARP Tax Aide.

The CRC complex includes a common foyer and the 4,000 square ft. Helping Center addition, which moved from its previous location at the intersection of Broadway and Avenue N.
