In the face of a growing mental health care crisis, the Phoenix Center led a transformative event Oct. 10 in Marble Falls, bringing together individuals, families and advocates for an essential conversation about mental health.

The event featured an insightful training session led by Sarah Rosen Garrett, founder and CEO of the facility, based in Horseshoe Bay.

“We’re in this together. And together, we can make a difference,’ underscores the theme of this year’s event,” Garrett shared. “Recognizing the urgent need for mental health awareness and support, this free event aims to shed light on the impact of traumatic experiences on brain development while providing attendees with valuable tools, resources, and strategies to foster resilience in themselves and their loved ones.”

Attendance was free of cost and open to all members of the community to contribute to the dialogue surrounding mental health.
