What’s Christmas season without the spirit of giving?

The Granite Shoals Police Department and the Granite Shoals Fire Department are holding Operation Fill the Boat. Their boats are out in front of their stations waiting to be filled with new unwrapped toys and gifts up to age 15.

Granite Shoals police officials said the greatest need this season is for elementary and middle school age children.

Families needing help to give their children Christmas gifts can pick up applications for Granite Shoals Christmas Outreach at Highland Lakes Elementary, 8200 FM 1431 in Granite Shoals; Texas Department of Health & Human Services, 1406 Resource Parkway in Marble Falls; and and The Helping Center, 1016 Broadway in Marble Falls.
