HCCAC Designer Purse Bingo returns May 1, 2021

After going virtual last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Designer Purse Bingo will return to an inperson format with a Saturday, May 1, event at the Live Oak Lawn & Pavilion at the Horseshoe Bay Resort, 200 Hi Circle North.

The annual event is one of two principal fundraisers for the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center. The event features an afternoon of bingo with top-name handbags as winnings. More than 750 women take part each year in the fun for a good cause. Last year, the event raised

Check-in is at 10 a.m., with a light lunch at 11 a.m. and games begin at noon. There will be complimentary drinks, dessert, live and silent auctions, a cake auction and even a new Theme Your Table contest this year for those who purchase an entire, socially distanced reserved table. Tickets are $70 per person. Reserved tables are for two ($170), four ($340) and 10 ($850).

There will also be a Louis Vuitton purse drawing, sponsored by Tammie Bennett with Kuper Sotheby’s. Tickets for the drawing are $25 each or five for $100.

The 2021 Designer Purse Bingo Theme Your Table Contest is presented by Two Black Cadillacs Boutique & Cadillac Salon and is an opportunity to make the Bingo experience a day to remember. Tables will be judged on theme, creativity/originality and overall appearance. Rules for the contest can be found on the HCCAC website.

Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center serves children who have suffered trauma and abuse and their families within Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano, Mason and San Saba counties.

The Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center also responds to physical abuse cases, witnesses to a crime, and other serious maltreatment. HCCAC is Burnet County’s only not-for-profit organization that coordinates communication efforts with child protective services, law enforcement professionals, family advocates, medical experts, and mental health clinicians under one roof.
