Views and the beauty of nature are featured prominently in an exhibit that has traveled east featuring pieces from the Highland Arts Guild & Gallery.

The works of members of the guild have made it as far a large city health facility to provide respite for patients and loved ones who go to visit.

The 32 works by highly accomplished artists will be on view at the Healing Arts Gallery at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital.

The Highland Arts Guild & Gallery, 318 Main St., celebrated its 50th year in 2021.

Today, more than 60 artists strong, the club exhibits original art in oils, pastels, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, mixed media, ceramic and sculpture. The exhibit will be on view through January 6, 2023.

This fits well with the guild's goal is the promotion and appreciation of fine art through exhi bitions, workshops and demonstrations to the public and the membership.

The Healing Arts Gallery is located at 2000 Scenic Drive, Georgetown and is open to the public during hospital hours.
