A nonprofit hosted those with special needs to celebrate the holidays and share good times.

Over 500 guests from Burnet and Llano counties, along with their caregivers and many volunteers, attended the Highland Lakes Service League (HLSL)’s annual Special Needs Christmas Party at the Putters and Gutters in Marble Falls on Dec. 1.

Buses and vans from many different communities in the area brought guests of all sizes and ages.

The crowd enjoyed dancing, bowling, crafting, face painting, food

and of course, a visit with Santa.

The organization’s motto, “Together, We Can Do More," was on full dis play through the generosi- ty of the many volunteers, sponsors and supporters.

The members of the HLSL are grateful to be able to continue this special holiday tradition and wish to extend thanks to the sponsors that made the event possible, including Putters and Gutters, Estes Audiology, and Moxie I, LLC, and also expressed appreciation to the do- nors who provided in-kind contributions, including Marble Falls High School Art Department, Numi- nous Coffee, Chick-fil-A, H-E-B, and WalMart. And for their personal energy and service, the HLSL would like to thank Matthew Mc-Cabe, Tommy Morgan, and Charles Jones with Hill Country Fellowship.
