From a 2,000-pound bull to a 500-pound female longhorn, the livestock calls can be as varied as they are frequent for a couple of animal control deputies in Burnet County.
On March 23, BCSO Livestock Deputies Jason Jewett and Mark Hasty successfully completed the unit’s second attempt to pen and retrieve a stray longhorn on a property in the 1600 block of RR 1431.
