Texas Governor Greg Abbott was the honored guest at the first Lincoln-Reagan Dinner in Burnet County on March 10 at the Cedar Skies venue in Log Country Cove.
His visit was delayed due to a flight engine malfunction on the ground, but then a political donor offered his aircraft to get Abbott to the event.
