Uvalle, longest-serving Gshoals employee, to retire

It will be the end of an era for Granite Shoals when the city’s longest-serving current employee, Jose “Joe” Uvalle, retires at the end of December 2020. Uvalle was hired on with the city in 1988 originally as a temporary laborer, but he has worked his way to being the Streets and Park superintendent, a position he has held since 2008.
