We all knew that the day would come when Officer Steve Koennig would retire from the Burnet County Sheriff's Office and from his patrol job in Meadowlakes. That day was yesterday. Speaking for all of Meadowlakes, I believe I can safely say that Steve will be missed. His approach to his job was exemplary and much appreciated.
