Burnet County GOP to host runoff candidates

The public is invited to meet the various candidates on the ballot and to hear them respond to questions Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at the Hill Country Community Foundation/Reed Bldg, 402 E. Jackson. An informal "meet and greet" with the all candidates for city coun - cil, BCISD board, tax assessor and county com - missioner is scheduled at approximately 5:30 p.m.; at 6 p.m., Burnet CISD's new superintendent will offer remarks, and at 6:15, candidate forum begins for contested races. Each candidate gets one minute for opening remarks and two minutes to respond to each question. Then one minute for closing remarks.

Questions have been sent to the candidates ahead of time to allow them to prepare. Anyone wishing to ask their own questions of the candi - dates should do so during the meet and greet time.
