A two-day training session April 10 and 11 in a mobile fire simulation unit offered area firefighters techniques and tactics to hone their skills in extreme scenarios. At least 60 firefighters participated including Cottonwood Shores VFD, Spicewood VFD, Burnet VFD, Granite Shoals Fire Rescue, Marble Falls Area VFD, Hoover Valley VFD and Cassie VFD.
