City of Marble Falls officials are gathering public feedback as it reviews and updates the municipality’s Comprehensive Plan.

To that end, officials planned an upcoming Open House, request feedback with an online survey and unveiled a timeline for adoption of the plan.

Considered a development roadmap, the plan addresses key planning and policy actions such as traffic management, future development, housing, parks, trails and infrastructure.

The current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2016.

Residents are invited to a Community Open House to be held on Tuesday, May 9, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Lakeside Pavilion, 307 Buena Vista, Marble Falls.

In addition, the city will gather feedback on its Hazard Mitigation Action Plan.

The upcoming Open House is the second of two in the project timeline which started in the fall of 2022. Also this summer, officials will hold recommendation review meetings. By the fall, a draft is expected to be presented to the planning and zoning commission and eventually voted on by the city council.
