Granite Shoals seeking grants for recreation improvements

The Granite Shoals City Council gave the go-ahead for city administrators to apply for multiple grants of varying amounts to improve municipal facilities. City administration presented the items at the Tuesday, Jan. 11 regular council meeting. Mayor Will Skinner spoke in favor of applying for all possible grants. “I think any time we can get a grant, it’s a good idea to go for it,” he said. …
