From Meet the Teacher nights to Meet the Mustangs, Marble Falls Independent School District officials are launching into a bevy of activities for the upcoming 2022-23 school year.
Campuses which are readying for students are: Colt Elementary School, Highland Lakes Elementary School, Marble Falls Elementary School, Spicewood Elementary School, Marble Falls Middle School and Marble Falls High School.
Here are some important dates for families to know.
• Meet the Teacher Night
Monday, Aug. 15 Elementary schools – 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Elementary schools – 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Middle school – 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• New student registration
Aug. 1, 3, 4 and 5 – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Today) Aug. 2 – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Meet the Mustangs
Thursday, Aug. 18 – 6:30 p.m.
MFHS Max Copeland Gym
• Computer device deployment
6th grade: Aug 1 – 4 to 7 p.m.
7th grade: Aug 2 – 4 to 7 p.m.
8th grade: Aug 3 – 4 to 7 p.m.
All Grades: Aug 4 – 4 to 7 p.m.
The district is hosting new teacher orientation this week from Aug. 1 to 3. Staff inservice is Aug. 8 to 12 as well as 15 and 16.
Students go back to school on Wednesday, Aug. 17.
