As a thunderstorm rolled into Marble Falls around noon on Monday, May 17, city crews launched into action clearing the way for runoff in areas including Fourth Street just off Avenue J. Around the same time, first responders closed low water crossings in areas including Broadway at Childers Park, Avenue L and Ninth Street. According to Accuweather.com, there is a 60 to 65 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms through Wednesday. Highs are in the lower 80s.
