The University Interscholastic League confirmed what many around Marble Falls Independent School District thought may be possible this week: the Mustangs will play in 4A next season. The entity released conference threshold numbers on Dec. 8, and MFISD came in 70 students under the 4A maximum of 1,299. The numbers reflect students in ninth through 12th grade.
