The Lady Mustangs softball team showed some solid hitting, but the team’s pitching and defense had a tough day Tuesday in the Mustangs home game with the Georgetown Gateway Gators. The Gators scored 13 runs on eight hits in the first inning to set the tone for the game in the 23-3 loss. Gateway sent 18 batters to the plate in the first frame.
