Burnet County Friends of NRA collected more than hundred thousand dollars in donations, auction items and table sponsorships during its recent banquet with the bulk of the funding earmarked for local law enforcement, youth shooting sports and education.

For Burnet County Friends of NRA spokesman Mark McDonald jumping through a few new hoops to coordinate an upcoming fundraiser is worth the outcome. “We fund law enforcement grants, 4-H shooting teams, shooting sports, educational programs,” McDonald said.
