Two people face charges in connection with a crash over the weekend at the Dollar General in Buchanan Dam.

The incident unfolded around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10.

According to Llano County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle crashed into the west side of the store, lo- cated in the 15,000 block of Texas 29.

“They weren’t open but there was at least one per- son there stocking," said Llano County Chief Deputy Brad Evans, whose agency assisted at the scene. “(The driver) was taken to jail for DWI by the trooper." No injuries were reported.

According to docu- ments, Sandra Kay Thomas, 74, of Horseshoe Bay was identified as the driver of the 2020 Lincoln SUV. She bonded out of the Llano County Jail later that morning on a $1,500 bail.

A reported passenger in the vehicle was initially taken into custody but then later released.
