  • Officials reported strong turnout during the Nov. 3 general election carried GOP candidates in Burnet County, represented here election night by GOP County Chairwoman Kara Chasteen, and throughout the Lone Star State. The county joined much of Texas with historic in-person numbers, giving incumbent President Donald J. Trump the state’s 38 electoral votes.
