Granite Shoals Fire Rescue dispatched to fire on Oak Street

Granite Shoals Fire Rescue was dispatched to a possible structure fire on Oak Street in the Burnet County ESD No. 3 response district on Friday, June 12. Firefighters arrived in scene to find a golf cart, a vehicle and a fence on fire. Bystanders on scene were attempting to extinguish the fires with a garden hose. GSFR units took control of the scene and quickly extinguished the fire before it reached two nearby homes. No injuries were reported. Burnet County Sheriff’s officers also lent assistance on scene.
