What started as a welfare call at a residence unfolded into an alleged dog “hoarding” case, where the owner agreed to surrender over two dozen pets, officials say. Burnet County animal control authorities were called around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 to the 500 block of Live Oak in Bertram. Approximately 30 chihuahuas, about eight of which were puppies, were found under “not healthy conditions,”…
