A death after an excursion on Lake LBJ attribut- ed to "amebic meningitis" has prompted officials to sound the alarm about conditions that could harm more visitors to the waterway.
Revelers are being asked to take “precautions to minimize their risk of infection from a harmful ameba," according to a statement by the Lower Colorado River Authority.
