To keep pace with growth and aging infrastructure, the Lower Colorado River Authority Board of Directors on Oct. 20 approved raising the rate for firm water customers, including local municipalities, from $145 to $155 an acre-foot beginning next year.
The board approved the recommendation from administration and adopted the new rate after insight from entity leadership.
