On April 26, youngsters spent the morning with area artists for Student Art Day at Lakeside Park and along Backbone Creek during the Paint the Town Festival going on this week in Marble Falls.

The 2023 event launched Sunday, April 23 and is going on through Saturday, April 29. Paint the Town features artists descending the Highland Lakes area to capture views, iconic buildings and tranquil venues for scenes on canvass.

Through the week, the festival includes activities to coax student artists, families and visitors to participate or just enjoy the art at the Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls and other sites nearby.
