April 9, 1950 — March 28, 2024

Anne Morris Lundberg, age 73 of Horseshoe Bay, Tex-as, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024 after her long battle with dementia.

Anne was born in Bloomington, Illinois, April 9, 1950. Growing up she lived there and in Nebraska and Greeley, Colorado where she met her husband Bill Lundberg on a blind date on Valentines Day, 1970. They were married several years later and as an Air Force wife they were stationed at Clark AB, Philippines and various state side bases. After her husband left the Air Force and joined the airlines, they lived in several domiciles. Then after retiring they moved to Horseshoe Bay.

Anne loved to travel and was an avid hiker. She made friends wherever she went and especially liked to hike in the Lake District of England. She had a good sense of humor and made those she came in contact, Smile!

She also loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She was a longtime volunteer and supporter of the Highland Lakes Canine Rescue.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann and John Morris as well as her two daughters Alison and Natalie Lundberg. She was an outstanding and loyal mother who fought to care for her daughters through their battles with seizure disorders.

She will be laid to rest in Greeley, Colorado beside her parents and daughters at Trinity Episcopal Church.

We want to thank the Horseshoe Bay Police Department and Fire/ Rescue for their support, understanding and encouragement to Anne, during her escape episodes.
