Don C. Elfving peacefully and quietly passed away with his wife Dusti Elfving at his bedside at Granite Mesa Senior Facility from a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, he was 80 years old and had a “passion for life.”

Don was very devoted and loved his family and friends so much. A devoted husband was on top of his list. Dusti was so blessed to be loved by Don because of his incredible partnership and passion for life. He was a very devoted husband, brother, uncle, and many cousins. He was born in Albany, California on June 20, 1941, SON to Raymond & Agnes Elfving.

Don is survived by his wife of 23 years Dusti Elfving and sister Karen Joan Mingus.

He had so many Accomplishments in his life. But the one thing that he was so proud of was his family and friends! When you became his friend, you had a true friend for life. He went home to be with the Lord because his heart finally understood how much he was loved by the creator, but We will see you again Mr. Don and I know you’ll have the garden ready for us.

Don had many friends around the world and loved teaching others to become Ph.D.’s too, He was a Research Scientist that loved his career for Apples, Cherries, Pears, Nut Trees, flowers, and more flowers. He made many friends with his fun-loving spirit for life. He loved being a member of Wenatchee Rotary and Marble Falls Rotary with 30+ combined years of experience. See, he loved making a difference.
