Geraldine (Gerrie) Keely, 93, of Granite Shoals, Texas, died Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Gerrie was born in Bisbee, Arizona to Henry and Goldie Blitch, graduated high school in Bisbee and moved to Rock, Kansas upon her marriage to Gene Keely in 1948. Gerrie and Gene retired to Lake LBJ in Granite Shoals, Texas in 1990 after 23 years as Food Service Director of Pecos, Texas school district. Gerrie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Granite Shoals for 33 years.
Survivors of Gerrie are: her sister, Annette Hauser of Carlsbad, New Mexico, her son Wes Keely and wife Debbie of Winfield, Kansas, her daughter Janette Stanton and husband Rick of Granite Shoals, Texas, and her daugh-ter in law Tammy Keely of Bangs, Texas. Gerrie is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristi Stanton (Greg), Rob Stanton (Sherri), Halea Stanton (Stephen), Aaron Keely (Diana), Kimberly Saunders (Jonathan), Patrick Keely (Tiffany), Harley, Honey and Stormie Keely and her great grandchildren Colton, Dustin, Brandy, Stephen, Waylon, Isaac, RayAnn, Stetson, Sterling, Hazel and Braxton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Keely, her son Tim Keely and a granddaughter, Jennifer Keely.
Honorary family members are Wayne, Glenn and David Bowman.
Graveside service to be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Rd 4 South, Burnet, Texas.
