Martha Sue Hoffmeyer Moody was born in Tyler, Texas December 7, 1934.

She was the daughter of Alfred Herman Hoffmeyer and Willie B. Hill. She married Thomas Arthur Moody of Danbury, Connecticut on August 17, 1957. They lived in Louisville, Kentucky before moving back to Texas in 1991.

Thomas died in 2010. Martha passed October 19, 2023 in Llano, Texas They had three children: Thomas, Elizbeth, and Matthew. They had 6 grandchildren. Burial will be in Tyler memorial Park.
