Virginia Kay Warren (Bak-er) was born on June 13th, 1940 in Pontiac Michigan, she passed away peacefully, November 12th, 2023, in her home in Buchanan Dam Texas, surrounded by her family.

When Kay was 5 her family moved to Orlando Florida, where she grew up and meet her husband Red Warren, a sailor in the US Navy. Af-ter following him around the world for 25 years, they settled in Buchanan Dam. She got her real estate license, became a Broker, and sold real estate for the rest of her life. She loved working, sell-ing houses, and meeting new people.

Her husband (Red Warren) of 57 years died in 2018. His ashes will be buried with her. Her Son Patrick Warren of Florida died July of 2019.

She has 2 living daughters Kathleen Warren of Kingsland TX, and Krista Waldee of Tennessee. Leaving behind 7 grandchildren, Jessica Rodriguez, Erica Kay Lewis, Michael Rodriguez, Harden Wallace, Jacob Wallace, Faith Warren, Joshua Warren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services with be Friday Nov. 17th. At the Highland Lakes United Methodist Church, in Buchanan Dam, close to the intersection of HWY 29 and 1431. Preservice reception starts and 12 noon with funeral following at 1 pm, she will then be taken to her final resting place in Richland Springs at the family cemetery.
