The Marble Falls tandem of sophomore Tyler Hamblin and junior Nick Dahl have led the Mustangs cross country team to new heights. On Monday, Oct. 24, the pair will race for the Mustangs at the Regional III-4A Championships at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. The 4A races begin at 8 a.m.

The Marble Falls boys cross country team captured the District 24-4A title Oct. 10 at the Marble Falls course. The Mustangs scored 38 points to arch rival Burnet’s 58 to capture its district crown. Marble Falls’ Hamblin and Dahl finished in third and fourth, respectively.

Finishing behind the Mustangs in the boys varsity were Burnet with 58 points and Lampasas with 71 points. For the girls, Tori Thompson placed sixth in 12.55 at district and advances to regional.
