The Burnet High School baseball team defeated Marble Falls 7-4 April 16 in District 24-4A play.That win coupled with Lago Vista’s 5-2 loss to Lampasas means the Bulldogs (23-3, 11-1) are the 2024 district champions.“We didn’t know that until (the morning of April 17),” head coach Russell Houston said. “Twenty wins is a lot when you play 26 games.
