With the completion of the 2022 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, the community should be incredibly proud of the 4-H and FFA members of Burnet County. Their recent accomplishments brought home a grand total of $34,000 worth of scholarships.

Marble Falls ISD is pleased to announce two promotions that will fill key leadership positions in the District. Yarda Leflet, Executive Director of Instructional Services, has been elevated to the position of assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, and Erika O’Connor, Colt Elementary School principal, will serve as the director of elementary education.

From Bertram and Spicewood to Cassie and Marble Falls, Burnet County election officials offer as ma many as 21 places to cast ballots.

The history of the American Barn Quilt can be traced back almost 300 years, to the arrival of immigrants from the central regions of Europe; Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. It is widely believed that barn painting/quilt ing originated in Pennsylvania with these immigrants and then spread to much of the New England and Midwestern states.

The Church at Horseshoe Bay will have three Ash Wednesday services on March 2. The services will take place in the sanctuary at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m.
