Horseshoe Bay fire crews douse condo blaze

Body
Horseshoe Bay fire crews, police and EMS, along with a ladder truck from Marble Falls, responded to a condo fire near the intersection of Poker Chip and Out Yonder shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday. According to HSB Fire Chief Brent Batla, when units arrived, there was heavy fire and smoke coming from the garage and upstairs window of the unit. He praised the job done by crews to keep the fire contained to the one unit and said all occupants of the building were safely out of harm’s way and no injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is undetermined at this time. Lew K. Cohn/The Highlander
