From trunk-or-treat events and a haunted house to farm harvest tours and activities in the park, visitors and locals can participate in a myriad of Halloween activities through the weekend, Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.

Burnet County resident Donna Hanson is determined to welcome her grandchildren from the Austin area into her community for trick-or-treating Halloween, Oct. 31 in Marble Falls. "They've bought their Halloween costumes, and they were really looking forward to it," she said. "There's nothing going over there (in the Austin area). "They've had enough disappointment without them being able to go to school," Hanson added. "It's very important for us to get back to normalcy, especially the kids." In Marble Falls, the municipality as well as residents are prepping for potential crowds descending on the community to participate in an organized Halloween event in Johnson Park and random trick-or-treating throughout neighborhoods.
