The Marble Falls High School football team received a blast from the past prior to their Friday night game against Austin McCallum. Members of the early 90s Mustangs football teams arrived in the locker room before the game to give the current team some wisdom from experience.

The Marble Falls High School football team had their undefeated record spoiled by the Victors from the Nike Dallas Football Club on Friday in a 23-22 loss. Mustangs Head Coach Brian Herman praised the Victors’ skill after the game.

The Marble Falls High School football team showed off a little bit of everything on Friday night in their 46-6 win over Austin Akins to move to 3-0 on the season. The Mustangs scored on their first seven complete offensive possessions.

The Marble Falls Mustangs take on the Austin Akins High School Eagles on tonight, Friday, Sept. 10 with the kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Mustang Stadium, 2101 Mustang Dr.

Junior defensive lineman Kevin Aguilar (59) was in the Bulldogs backfield all night on Friday, Sept. 3. He collected a handful of tackles for loss and a sack in the 41-9 win.

A week after being critical of his offense, Marble Falls Head Football Coach Brian Herman was pleased with his team’s performance in a 41-9 victory on Friday, Sept. 3 in Burnet.

The Mustangs defense gave the Lobos fits all night. Senior safety Chris Whitecotton (above) celebrated two fumble recoveries; and the Lobos’ backfield was full of purple jerseys throughout, including junior AJ Scovil (below).

In Marble Falls High football action, the Mustangs defeated the Kyle Lehman Lobos Friday night by a score of 20-2. Find more game highlights and images in the Tuesday, Aug.

The Mustangs participated in two scrimmages on the previous two Fridays -- against Lampasas and Leander -- to prepare for the games that count.
