City of Marble Falls hosts park movie nights

Young and old alike are welcome to the upcoming movies in Johnson Park series in March, May, October and December. The Parks and Recreation Department released the following lineup for the shows, which are featured on an outdoor pop-up theater: • Friday, March 18th: Pokémon Detective Pikachu Rated PG • Friday, May 13th: Spiderman: No Way Home Rated PG-13 • Friday, October 28th: Monster, Inc.

Virus-related leave prompts city office closures

UPDATE: As of Wednesday, Jan. 12, a social media post by the city of Marble Falls indicated that the Parks and Recreation and Public Works departments remained closed due to the staff shortage. "All other city department lobbies are currently open to the public," the post read. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

Halloween 2021

Family Camp Out coming up in June at Johnson Park

The City of Marble Falls Parks & Recreation Department invites you to enjoy a night out and camp in Johnson Park from Friday, June 4, to Saturday, June 5. The Marble Falls Family Camp Out will be one to remember, and registration will include the following: • A 20x20 feet campsite (Max 5 people, 2 tents); • Movie in the Park; • A TPWD Master Naturalist presentation; • S’mores bundle; • Access to campfire; • Access to kayaks; • Glow sticks for Neon Glow Parade; • Access to Johnson Park (Road will be blocked off as well); and • Breakfast provided.
