The city of Granite Shoals and participating sponsors are bringing one of the best events back to town. GraniteFest will feature a national Chili and BBQ cookoff happening over that weekend in addition to a custom car and truck show on the 26th of this month.

The Community Worship Night cultivated a spirit of unity where area residents came together Friday, July 23 as one body to fellowship, enjoy good food, sing and worship God. Thanks to a network of more than 20 local churches, vendors, first responders and volunteers the event at Quarry Park in Granite Shoals was a tremendous success with over 500 people in attendance.

After months of delays due to the coronavirus pandemic and uncooperative weather, contractors announced the multi-sport complex at Quarry Park in Granite Shoals is expected to be completed by Feb. 24.

Granite Shoals honored those who have served their country in its Armed Forces at the annual Veterans Celebration on Friday, Nov. 6, at Quarry Park, 2221 N. Phillips Ranch Road.
