Burnet County adopts hospital participation fund
Burnet County commissioners adopted the Burnet County Health Care Provider Participation Program, just before the regular session began June 10, during a public hearing, As authorized by Texas law, the court designated Hill Country National Bank as the depository of the mandatory collection of payments from two main Burnet County health care facilities, Baylor Scott & White and Ascension Seton hospitals. 06/13/2025 04:36 AM

Llano County kicks in $300K in hospital funds
After an hour-long executive session in which they discussed the matter, Llano County commissioners voted on Monday, June 2, to transfer $300,000 from unencumbered non-allocated contingency funds to the Llano Regional Hospital to help in operations. Hotel/conference center site ‘leveling up’ in Marble Falls
Land clearing is underway on the $42 million waterfront hotel and conference center, adjacent to Lakeside Park in Marble Falls. The $36 million project, near the shoreline of Lake Marble Falls, will feature 123 upscale Hilton hotel rooms and more than 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a main ballroom and junior ballroom. 06/10/2025 04:34 AM
